We have been featured numerous times on the Food Network and have cooked at the James Beard House in New York. Very long wait for food; adults got theirs before the kids.
Forgot to take a pic . Very good experience. The dishes they serve are yummy and the team is welcoming and cooperative. The service we had was great. The food is always delicious and the wait staff are friendly. We were awarded by Citysearch as Philadelphia's Best Brunch.
He checked in periodically, made sure our water glasses were full, and never seemed the slightest bit anxious to see us out of there. Add salmon, shrimp, or chicken for an additional charge. I don't recommend this place at all , they're service is by far the worst.
Join us everyone Friday and Saturday from 6-9pm for LIVE music with Tyrone's own, Raymond Coleman! Very good food al around the table. Our server, David was very accomodating.Only problem was noise and music made it a little difficult to talk to fellow diners.Otherwise, great. With lettuce, tomato, red onion and a smoked salmon remoulade sauce. I love Plough and the Stars, it is one of my favorite places in Philadelphia. Very festive with a roaring fire and beautiful Christmas tree. Will be going back if ever in Philly again! Served with lettuce, diced pickle, tomato and onion. Went for the music on Sunday, which did not disappoint. Add homemade buffalo sauce for an additional charge.

Salmon was delicious and our server was very accommodating. At the Plough & the Stars the owners are determined to bring the true taste of Ireland to Philadelphia, our food is described as Western European with a strong Irish influence. Server dropped pasta with hot butter sauce onto one of the kid’s lap.

A friend and I met for brunch. Our signature creamy chowder, made with monkfish, clams & smoked mackerel, Baked Portobello Mushrooms and Smoked Gouda Cheese, topped with Prosciutto. Baked salmon stuffed with jumbo lump crab meat in a lemon caper white wine sauce served with basmati rice and wilted spinach. Everyone was so nice and welcoming.
