This is a great organic farmer's market with great food stalls but the best thing for me about this market has to be the bacon and egg roll stall. It's always bustling and they have great food stalls for eating there. Totally awesome. It's a great place to shop for fruit, arts and craft, but above all, to have an early morning coffee and eat an early morning Turkish Gozleme or savoury muffin, out in the open air as the sun smiles down upon you. Likewise, if you get up early and you preform a poor trick, I will not fall for it even though it is before seven o'clock in the AM. YES! Most vendors don't seem to take cards, which is understandable in a market. I highly recommend the Eclipse Whole Foods stand, and BF loves the bacon egg rolls- super fresh torpedo rolls with a hefty portion of middle bacon (easily 5-6 pieces). There's a shop which solely sells mushrooms, every variety you could ever wish to see, big mushrooms, small mushrooms, some that grow on trees.
It’s perfect for kids too, with pony rides and playgrounds. Go stand in the one with the massive line..... How could anyone pass honey-cured bacon.. Oh my freaking god! That would be my recommendation.

And if you’re already hungry when you arrive there are plenty of hot food stalls. I don't subscribe to the idea that you have to get up pretty early in the morning to trick me. The only thing I always forget here is that there is no ATM, so I've often run out of money or gotten there and realised I'm not carrying any money. You'll come away with bags groaning full of beautiful cheeses, meats, bread, vegetables, pastries and jams.

For most shoppers their Saturday ritual starts with a coffee from either Mayan or Cappucinno Afloat accompanied by either one of Bowen's famed and queued patiently for Egg & Bacon Roll OR a French pastry.
