It's been almost two years since the iPad Pro first came into our lives, so it's just about possible that early adopters' bank accounts have recovered sufficiently to start considering an upgrade. Apple has been feverishly launching iPads in the first half of 2017: three out of four of the models it now sells came out this year.

Why are you seeking device images for screenshots?

The third generation of iPad Pro was announced on October 30, 2018, and was made available in two screen sizes: 11-inch (28 cm) and 12.9-inch (33 cm). The iPad Pro 12.9in (2017) is available now, having launched at WWDC on 5 June 2017. Keep in mind now that the iPhone XS Max screenshot fills in mechanically for lesser/other devices which leads my assumption about iPad 3 gen. Apple seems to be trying to reduce the number of 'required' screenshots, something that has been needed for some time, I think.

We haven't tested the new Pro models yet, but Apple predicts that the A10X Fusion will provide 30 percent faster CPU performance than the A9X, and 40 percent faster graphics performance. Bear in mind, however, that Apple has doubled the storage at each tier, so the entry-level model now comes with 64GB and the top model offers 512GB - an amazing amount of storage for a device of this type.

Whether we'd upgrade is a different matter.

Just do a representation of the screen, sans bezel/device. This higher refresh rate will not apply all the time, by the way: a new feature called ProMotion adjust this dynamically depending on what is required at the time, in order to help battery life.

This is probably the biggest upgrade: the new iPad has the same cameras as the iPhone 7, a major step forward from the previous generation.

It also features a powerful twelve-core GPU. These screenshots will scale down for the 11-inch iPad Pro, but not for older iPad devices. And the price tag is high.

As a first business iPad it's an appealing choice. Screenshots for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (3rd generation) are optional." Purely for comparison purposes (since this model is no longer available from Apple), here's what the company charged for the old 12.9in Pro as recently as April 2017. Storage now goes all the way up to an amazing 512GB, and most will now be able to settle happily for the entry-level option (64GB). The new device's front-facing camera is almost as good as the rear-facing model on the 2015 model.

Note further, however, that 128GB is itself a lot of storage on an iPad. And the cameras are a lot better - although we're not sure we'd recommend taking photos with this giant iPad.

They feature full-screen displays, with the 11-inch model replacing the 10.5-inch model of the previous generation.
