Yowzers! Our guides, Brian D, Jeff P and John D were the very best at everything they did.
As the blue sky approached, I could see that the sun would soon be released and that we—and, more importantly, the falling rain—would be bathed sunlight.
They worked tirelessly to provide delicious meals, endless snacks, knowledge and folklore about the river and canyon. the area, photography, and a master of the Jeep. engaged and the rugged beauty and remoteness of the canyon helped me to reset and restored a sense of peacefulness and awe at the beauty of the unique natural landscape. There was always fresh fruit and veggies!
I have been to many parts of the world but this trip was special for my spouse and I. I would highly recommend this trip and to use Grand Canyon Whitewater, as the materials and videos provided prior to trip helped us prepare and it lived up to the expectations of the trip and much more.

The customer service staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Panoramas are one of the most fun and dramatic ways of capturing the Milky Way. They are also very knowledgeable in sharing the history of the canyon, as well as encouraging us to respect and protect the natural wonders. The sites for sleeping are beautiful.
Many people have never heard of Grand Falls, but it’s a stunner.
But from the bottom of the canyon, it’s clear that the river is most definitely in charge. Also, I cannot say enough about THE FOOD. We felt completely safe going through the big water, especially with the expertise of the guides! There are no pins in your viewport. Knowledgeable guides who are professional and a lot of fun.
They are professional, kind, positive, and keep everything fun. We had the best mix of opportunities for peaceful solitude and contemplation, white knuckle adventure and laughing our booties off too!

In this section, beneath the panoramic vistas known to all Grand Canyon South and North Rim visitors, you hardly get a chance to dry off from one rapid before the next looms. Highly recommend Mild to Wild and Hayden for the best combination of awesome you can. Best trip ever! Everything about our trip was SPECTACULAR!!!! Exceeded all expectations. Will definitely be coming back to do the south rim. I thought I would miss my phone and social media but that was the last thing on my mind. The guides really did a fantastic job ensuring everyone got to truly experience the canyon and set a great example of people helping people which our group instantly adopted. Troy worked tirelessly to make sure we felt completely safe and learned about the history, geology and geography along the way. All were experienced experts in their craft plus all had detailed knowledge of the canyon's geology, history, plant, and wildlife. They work tirelessly to make this trip absolutely seamless- safe- (did I mention magical) and still adventurous.

Deer Creek Fall, Grand Canyon National Park. Layer that with an absolutely incredible staff that has everything figured out, is really helpful, super fun and knowledgeable about the Canyon, history, geology and river and you've got an amazing experience. Thanks to all the crew as well, will definitely come back. On each trip, lifelong friendships form between rafters (myself included) who were complete strangers when we pushed off at Lee’s Ferry. Due to the elements of nature, my private trip (aka not with GCW) lost ALL of our boats at Mat Kat. Downstream Adventures!! We would, without a doubt, travel with Grand Canyon Whitewater again.
Their genuine warmth and lightheartedness made us feel so lucky they were guiding our adventure. Go without the tent. Never did I expect to make so many incredible memories. And speaking of clear water, my favorite time for the trip is spring, when the temperature is warm but not too warm, and the Colorado River runs a deep, translucent green that’s a stark contrast to the opaque brown of the monsoon months.

We did the 5 day motorized lower canyon trip from the Bright Angle Trail. Thank you GCWW for bringing so much joy into our life. gorgeous tree run, stop for breathtaking photos, all at high speeds and thrilling twists and turns. The really cool thing about going motorized, is the speed you can travel the canyon. GCW is a well run outfit with constant communication and wonderful staff. I am a real person, and not a paid reviewer. While the sun was still buried in dark clouds, a patch of blue growing on the western horizon gave me hope.

I went on a 5 day lower river motorized tour with two of my college aged kids. he made us feel so safe and have a lot of fun! They have to be the friendliest people I have ever met.
In these areas where calm prevails, utter silence is interrupted only by the sounds of wind, water and wildlife. Amanda (in the office) is incredibly well-organized and helpful.
Just downstream from the confluence, the Colorado River makes a 90-degree bend to flow west, and the Grand Canyon’s once narrowly spaced walls open to reveal vast expanses of sky. The food was amazing, fresh, and plentiful! :). Ryan was our guide and did an excellent job making sure the experience was fun and that everyone felt comfortable. When the Little Colorado isn’t running, Grand Falls isn’t running either. I'm Sarah, I worked in the GCW Office for about 7 years! It was an awesome way to connect with the family and also meet new people. The guides were/are friendly, funny, caring, cool under pressure and just great individuals. I don’t want to give away any surprises but days later I’m still thinking about those delicious meals! That’s the quick and dirty on the LC. Spectacular guides that made the trip, for this 71 year old woman who had never been camping and on her own, doable. The love these guides have for the river and the canyon is contagious in the best possible way. great comfort as we paddled through the 4 & 5 class rapids. Just back from their 8-Day Motor trip and I can not speak highly enough of the experience.
And we owe it to this outfitter! The 8 mile hike out was tough, but we felt so accomplished once we made it to the top (pack light!) James and Jess were an awesome guide team - the views, the rapids, the history of the area. There were frequent updates and reminders as our trip got closer and it was very much appreciated!
The crew we went with ( Brie, Cora, Johnny and Chayse) were amazing. I’d heard the food was very good but that was an enormous understatement!
Our group had landed a prime campsite just across the Colorado River from Deer Creek Fall, and we weren’t about to let a little rain dampen our spirits.
