This isn't much more than a straight-forward, get-the-baddies action flick. Justice is served, but at a very bloody price. A nice decent violent thriller that keeps you entertained in its crazy bloody action scenes and suspenseful in some parts too... the movie might have its flaws on the story development but the dark violent vibe it delivers makes it worth the watch.. There's some sick action scenes here, but the story kind of drags in between them, and the movie does take awhile to get off the ground. "In the Blood" will appeal to fans of "Taken" -- a lone warrior with a set of skills who tears apart a foreign land to find a loved one.

All Critics (41) Fine actors (Alison Steadman, Phil Davis) nudge our boy forward, yet the rehabilitation and race-against-time narratives prove fundamentally at odds: we're left watching two films cancelling each other out.
