Writing this at the end of September. It was my pleasure to  visit Gloucester again recently and I enjoyed the beautiful story book town and all the friendly people I met.This beach is serene and beautiful with so many kind and warmhearted people.

Book in advance. You can't beat the views and the beautiful white sand, facilities and food available. I also liked that there were food options and restrooms available. People are friendly.

The parking is a bit expensive at $35, but to spend the day there is not so bad and it's up there with the other popular beaches in Massachusetts. Overall I had a fantastic time and think this would be worthwhile for a day trip to the beach!

I will definitely come back--as long as I can gather together some friends to split the parking fee with! The sand is pristine and the water is crystal clear. That's kind of ridiculous.
