Luckily we were able to unload and there was a Parkin Lot 0.70 miles up the road same price to park $35. I will say there is a great lack of trash cans on the beach in general. I grew up near here and love it year round--during the off season you can walk your dog (beware--it's like odd days are fine and even days aren't? The parking is a bit expensive at $35, but to spend the day there is not so bad and it's up there with the other popular beaches in Massachusetts. Very clean beach with an iconic house perched up along the rock face. I will 100% be back and back again.

The beach is large but very popular and so if you are not a resident, get there to wait in line by 8 am to get in as they only let a certain number of non residents right now. Overall I had a fantastic time and think this would be worthwhile for a day trip to the beach!
I will definitely come back--as long as I can gather together some friends to split the parking fee with! The sand is pristine and the water is crystal clear. That's kind of ridiculous.
