Disney does Aladdin years before Aladdin in episode 12, “Master of the Djinn.” Here’s what happens: We begin right in the middle of the story with Scrooge out in the desert in search of Aladdin’s lost lamp, and Glomgold hot (heh) on his trail. The djinni decides to send the two ducks back in time so that neither wins. However, he decides to use his final wish to free Gene and transform him into a mortal boy. Scrooge takes control of the lamp, using his first wish to regain the treasure of Collie Baba, which he had lost. • "The First Adventure!" The two Scottish ducks are chained to the top of the crocodile pit. • "The Spear of Selene!" Della and Scrooge demand him to send them out of the sitcom, but Gene refuses as he warns that only the lamp's master can wish them back home with only two wishes left. • "The Split Sword of Swanstantine!" None of this has been really betaed. Gene's identity is eventually revealed to Scrooge after an ill-fated wish by Webby. Following the warning soon after in the season two finale of "Moonvasion" and after numerous hard-fought battles, many of Duckburg's citizens are able to stop Lunaris' plan of orbiting the Earth around the Moon with his mothership. When it clears, the pillar is no longer a ruin but attached to a gate leading into a palace. He awaits anyone to free him.
