Keep making movies m8 and I loved the Mercedes and Hugo boss shirts! As I said if you are a fan of these movies then you will enjoy this prequel and afterwards no doubt the same as me you want to carry on the story with the first ROTF movie. Then, a sneak-preview of next week's episode - Tony and Craig set off to buy some drugs, but Craig leaves the money in a McDonald's toilets. This page works best with JavaScript. We love the Rise of the Footsoldier movies. Probably one my favorite British film was ROTFS 1 and Just couldn't wait for this one. The plot was ridiculous, the comically fearless central character embodied every "gangster cliche" there is and the script was diabolical.
By the way i have now joined IMDB to have my say and to check him out fully and I have now compiled a to do watch list of all Craig Fairbrass movies :) I really hope he has more movies coming out soon.. yummy.
- seriously if Tom Hardy or Ray Winstone had played this role the critics would be screaming from the roof tops of how marvellous they were. One of the defining moments that has been mythologised both in the Hollywood gangster film and the Prohibition era was the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. TERRIFYING!!!! If you are just a user reading stuff, enjoy! Rise of the footsoldier, violence blood shootings banter and pat tate what more could you want, Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 August 2020. What's to say about this one. If you are a PR person or a band wanting to get some words written about you, contact the individual writer directly. I am a big fan of British gang and hooligan films. Nice cameos from Jamie Foreman and Shaun Ryder too. © 2018 GLASSWERK.
The excellent Larry Lamb and Roland Manookian add further weight to the brilliant cast with their portrayals of Frank Harris and Graig Rolfe respectively. Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 December 2016 This is everything you could want from one of these films. He's actually better then some of the big US actors Ive seen, so natural, I mean totally believable, very manly with oodles of screen presence and if i say so myself kind a ruggedly handsome for an older guy and i don't usually find older guys attractive , but i kept thinking OMG!!! - especially the one involving Shaun Ryder!
Perhaps Pat's biggest problem was that he liked the product too much and would go into coke rages. We see what happened to Pat when he was absent from the part one storylines such as when he was in prison, and when he fled to Spain. Shame we didn't get more from the other two characters from the 1st film but it is called the Pat story.
I'm guessing it will end up on netflix soon but unlike all these other Essex films that are utter garbage and look like the actors were plucked from those only way is Essex this one is worth a look and is no doubt a cinema worthy movie. | It’s great to see a low budget English film produced with care. Prime members enjoy fast & free shipping, unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows with Prime Video and many more exclusive benefits. Heads and faces are smashed with hammers and fire extinguishers, skewered with broken bottles, and forced through plate glass windows. rise of the footsoldier is my favourite movie of all time, and the definitive movie based on the Essex boys/range rover murders it was well made, had a great cast, brutally violent, and it stuck to the facts, in 2015 there was a sequel called rise of the footsoldier part 2 and it followed Carlton leach and the aftermath of the range rover murders, it was a great follow up, and was a good place to end it, some people have been claiming that this movie is better than the second one, it isn't, its much more violent and action packed, but as its a work of fiction that's to be expected. However, Sexy Beast (2000) brought the C* as one of the main parts of a gangster’s lexicon and used to excess in this film. Fair brass is excellent, entertaining, Fantastic soundtrack, Great film! Nothing ground breaking here. If you're able to look past the ageing actors and lack of attempt at setting the action in the 90's you'll find snappy dialogue and a good soundtrack, but most importantly you'll find that Craig Fairbrass really does excel at playing arrogant, psychopathic and dangerous characters such as the one they are trying to portray this time round in Pat Tate.
Werk.Re is an independent entertainment, social propaganda portal for random individuals to chat about the stuff that’s of interest to them. It goes without saying that this film is not for all tastes, but then again neither are romcoms nor horror films. I thoroughly enjoyed the first original ROTFS, The second installment however wasn't great, but I was more than pleasantly surprised with this one!
Awards It's a film saddled with a terrible script, only slightly better than the second film in the series thanks to some minor roles for familiar faces from film and television, and lots of crunchy violence which is at least more entertaining than the woodenhead dialogue. Fairbrass as Pat Tate carries the film having, along with Stone and Roland Manookian as Rolfe all of who have appeared as support in the previous films but are brought to the foreground here with their larger than life characters, especially Fairbrass.
