There's a problem loading this menu at the moment. I can't really describe the feeling when I watch this film, I neither love it or hate it...I just feel really mixed. Craven meets Emma's killer, but he is shot before he can reveal why he did it. Literally happened out of nowhere and caught me off guard, excellent editing!

Jedburgh and Craven retrace Emma's fateful foosteps in Northmoor. I was looking for something to fill some time while I waited for paint to dry, so gave this a go.

Deeply dark and utterly sinister this series come from a time when the BBC made truly great drama. His investigation leads him to corporate cover-ups, government collusion and murder. Select the department you want to search in. Drama about Detective Ronald Craven's investigations into the murder of his daughter. This is probably the best political drama they ever made.
And Netflix has no problems in having subtitles for everything.

Mel Gibson is perfect for this role, giving his character a torn and afflicted mood and spirit, like wandering around to seek justice and knowing he is getting old and it is not time for jokes and smart lines anymore.

Danny Huston though, always a good choice although slightly underused.

I just don't think I'll ever fully appreciate it. Mel gibson and Ray winstone worked well together, An unusual bitter and angry revenge movie with a political and tragic view of things. I am not deaf but the sound quality on so many Prime titles is appalling, made worse by having no subtitles either. Highly recommend watching. And what about catering to actual deaf people? Bob Peck is outstanding as the slowly cracking up Craven seeing visions of his murdered daughter.

It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

And Netflix has no problems in having subtitles for everything. Theme music is excellent and chilling.
