I can't wait! Yup. Is it too much to ask that Maddy not have a waist so tiny that she is anatomically impossible, and facial features that aren't exactly the same as other princesses, only colored brown? Disney said its new animated princess — Maddy — will be added to its collection of animated princesses used at the company's theme parks and on consumer products. Well I grew up with the Disney films and love their music, so at least a new generation gets to have that too... My thought: when we're underwater, they will bury this movie in the bottom of their archives like they did. An unrealistically proportioned anorexic-looking princess character for young girls to emulate that isn't racist and teaches us about history and culture (just like Aladdin taught us about the Middle East and Pocahontas gave us an accurate account of the early colonization of Virginia).
